It is a Dolomite skiing region extends at elevations between 1,400 and 2,778 metres above sea level and offers optimal skiing conditions from December to April.
The Dolomites provide an enchanting backdrop with their deep blue skies and bright sunny days, rustic huts and fine mountain restaurants; friendly people and the unique interplay of South Tyrolean ambience and Italian style make Alta Badia the perfect skiing region for epicures. Hurry up, a lot of snow is coming and many events are organized to enjoy your 2015 winter holidays.

Foodies, in particular, can not miss the "Chef’s Cup" that is going on next 18 – 23 January 2015: a marvellous event that combine, in a magic mix, gourmet food (many chefs from all over the world are invited to work together) and skiing.
Chef’s cup is a meeting between chefs, in an informal setting, an opportunity to catch up and talk about new culinary trends without competing in the kitchen but on the snow. This event was created in 2004 as a result of an idea of Norbert Niederkofler, the Alto Adige chef with two michelin stars, that wanted to get chefs together in a friendly setting to discuss changes and developments in haute cuisine. It has evolved more and more throughout the years to include investigation, debates and meetings on haute cuisine care and development, health and charity related topics with the participation of enogastronomic experts and doctors.

Have a look at the program on the website www.chefscup.it:decide which is your favourite enogastronomy meeting and join it! Have fun!
